Day 6 - Aug 11

Trip back to Manila was smooth. Nothing much happened. The plane was on time. One thing I forgot to mention is, I'm impressed with ZestAir. Considering it is a new airline, their no-frills style was ok. Their seats are surprisingly spacious - I'd say it has more room than the Cathay plane I took from Vancouver to HK to Manila.

Anyway, the trip on the road back to my in-laws is a surprise also. There were Cory Aquino banners still along Roxas Boulevard. As usual, there are these shameless ads with Gloria's face just like Mao's or Lenin's, looking at their subjects.

Other mayors are also shameless. I did not notice any banner of Manila's mayor. Kalookan mayor also is quite shameless. I would say I am disappointed at this because he came from the same school I did. We were never taught to be that shameless in self-promotion. He had his name in everything, from government projects and to project notices.

Back at home, we had lunch from Max's. Quite a festive lunch. Back here, I have internet access again. Thank God I'm home!!!
