Day 18 - Aug 23

This being a Sunday, we went to Church for the 9am mass. We caught the tail end of the 8 am mass and the church was full.

After mass, we went to Trinoma. I was impressed with the size of it. For a country that claims to be poor, there are more malls than I can count and the malls are not tiny ones. They are HUGE!

We bought some stuff, shoes, some videos. Then we had lunch at Abe. The food was excellent again. There's one thing one can say, food tastes excellent in the Philippines. No wonder my waistline grew 1 inch over 3 weeks!

After lunch, it was time to rest and packing before heading for my brother's for dinner. He offered a mass for a safe trip for us. After the mass, we headed to his home and had dinner. I tasted fish noodles and like it.

It was good to see my nephews and niece and sister-in-law.

The dinner was cut short because of the heavy rain. We had to leave early because we were afraid that it might flood. And it was flooded. We managed to get home not until I backed up to a block of concrete. I could not see it because of the heavy rain.

Anyway, we came home. I had a sore throat and running nose. Hope they let me in to Canada despite of this.
