Victoria to Vancouver: Waiting for the Flight

Victoria International Airport Boarding Area
Today is Monday after a very hectic weekend at work. But thankfully, things have settled down. I left work at 3 pm today and we left Victoria before 8 pm. At the Victoria Airport, I was given priority boarding because of my cane.

The flight to Vancouver was quick. The plane barely lifted off and the flight attendant announced that we were landing.

As the plane was lifting up, I saw the Swartz Bay terminal. I saw the many islands around Vancouver Island. I did not know there were a lot. As we approached Vancouver Airport, I could see that we were approaching Richmond because of the condominium buildings.

The plane landed 15 minutes earlier than expected and we immediately went to the Philippine Airline gate. It was a long walk from where the plane landed. The flight is at 23:00 so we still have several hours to use up.

Nothing much to do, but call our kids. Thank you Google talk, we got to call our children for free - without paying long distance.

So here we are, waiting. I pray for a safe trip. I pray for protection for my children. This is the first time my wife and I will be taking a long trip without the children. Anyway, I hope it will be a quiet trip. Lord, please let it be a quiet trip.
